Faithful in Little, Generous in Much
“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.
LUKE 16:10
A Letter from Our Pastors
Dear friends,
Jesus reminds us in Luke 16:10, “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” These words invite us to consider an important truth about the Christian life: faithfulness is not measured by the size of our gifts, but by the love and generosity with which they are given.
For generations, our little chapel has stood as a testament to this truth. Through the faithfulness of ordinary people, God has done extraordinary things. Every prayer offered, every hymn sung, every neighbor welcomed, and every gift shared has helped sustain this sacred place and the community gathered within it.
It is easy to imagine that the work of the Church depends upon great resources or grand gestures. But the Gospel tells a different story. Jesus teaches us that even the smallest acts of faithfulness matter to God. What may seem like very little in our hands can become something abundant when entrusted to his care.
As we begin this year's giving campaign, Faithful in Little, Generous in Much, I invite you to reflect upon the gifts God has entrusted to you and the ways in which you might share them. Our chapel's future, like its past, will be shaped by the generosity of those who believe that this little church has an important place in God's kingdom.
Your giving is more than a contribution toward the maintenance of a building or the expenses of a congregation. It is an expression of gratitude for what God has already given us, an act of faith in what God continues to do among us, and a gift of hope to generations yet to come.
I invite you to prayerfully consider making a financial commitment to support the ministry of our chapel in the coming year. Whatever the size of your gift, know that it is received with gratitude and offered in service to God's greater purposes. May we continue to be faithful in little things, trusting that through our generosity, God will accomplish much.
With gratitude and affection,
Your Pastors
